Test Build [PVP]
This is a new build I created
It sometimes works really well
but most of the times,
it doesn't..
Hope you guys can help tweak it
& improve it.
(P.S - it works great in PvE with heroes & such)
Build: [Sword, Hundred Blade]
- Glyph of Lesser Energy
- Conjure Flame
- Mark of Rodgort
- S&M Slash
- Hundred Blade [e]
- Frenzy
- Rush
- Rez Sig, Lion's Comfort, For Great Justice
The biggest downside in my opinion,
is that the recharge time on the Glyph is long.
Also, if no monk on the team
I would die easily.
I tried to consider using Tactics skills
or Water/Earth skills to keep me alive
but that isn't going well with me.
ex: [The skills possible]
- Armor of Frost
- Armor of Mist
- Armor of Earth
- Magnetic Aura
- Silver Armor
- Stoneflesh Aura
- Wary Stance
- Protector's Defense
- Disciplined Stance
- Defensive Stance
- Bonetti's Defense
- Shield Stance
I realize that ultimately,
this has a high chance of not working
but its still a try.
Any advice, hints, criticism woud help a ton
thx.

Sever + Gash > glyph + mark
If you really want an 8th skill rather than a rez, you could ponder taking grasping earth since you seem to have no movement control factors.
Otherwise just go W/N and take barbs with bull's strike and abuse the fact that both your attack and hundred blades trigger the barbs.
Btw: For Great Justice lasts what 8 seconds? It is a terrible and unusable skill in pvp.

I think the idea he has, is more like fiery weapon, to add damage from the conjure, and to add damage from the burning.
I think this might work good in AB, but nowhere else ( maybe RA, but 1 hex removal and you lose 14 damage / second )
it should also be noted that builds that look newbish on first sight, might own the shit out you. I've recently met a team of which all people ( except the backliners and the runners ) wore Weaken Knees. our team couldn't remove them, and if we did, they instantly cast it again. this caused "slight" pressure troubles.

this, you should not worry about. your job, as a frontliner, is to kill stuff. make sure you have a good monk on your team, and if not. don't worry, if you die, just go another time in (RA) and try again.
also, lion's comfort > healing signet, and it saves you points in tactics.

Conjure is good, Mark of rodgort not so much.
Basically you kind of have to think of it like this, MoR doesn't just take up 1 slot, it takes up 2 because you need the energy from glyph. Now is it really worth 2 slots? No, not at all.
15e, 15 recharge and is likely just to get removed before it recharges. No thanks.
At the moment you have no deep wound, this can be solved by taking Sever Artery and Gash instead of MoR and glyph and you also get the spammable bleeding pressure as well. In the last slot I would take Res, or in AB Lions Comfort.
Dont worry about the lack of a self heal outside of AB. It's the monks job to heal, not yours.

This is kind of an old idea, however, sever artery + gash will still do much more damage to a target than burning under a 15e hex.
Conjures are also a bit overrated.

I did something like this once, i took Barbarous Slice, gash, Mark, conjure flame and Victory is Mine!. It helped keep up energy and health. It it will get you 159 health and 18 energy at 12 points. (yes i know that it is not that great of a build, but it still worked)

Maybe it's just me, but I think I'd leave the burning to a fire el who can use a mind blast Rodgort's Invocation combo. If you want more AoE damage, add whirlwind and use something like finish him for adding DW.
